2026 FLAG FOOTBALL REGISTRATION OPENS January 1 and ends March 8th
TK - K $100 - jersey mouthguard and flags
1st - 8th $125 - jersey, mouthguard and flags
Sunday, March 8 is the Skills Combine
LOCATION: Dixon High School
The combine will take place in 45 minute time slots, as follows:
1st & 2nd grade: TBD
3rd & 4th grade: TBD
5th & 6th grade: TBD
7th & 8th grade: TBD
PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO START TIME TO GET YOUR CHILD CHECKED IN!
Players will be put through a warm up that shows their speed and agility, and then put through 4 stations:
- Snaps
- Throws
- Route running/catching
- "Tackling" - flag pulling & field awareness
Don't worry, players will receive instruction at each of these stations--they are not expected to know all of these skills prior to participating.

Games will start at 10am and conclude by 6pm.
As a reminder, this is an introductory/developmental league. IDEALLY your team should practice in the 45-60 minutes immediately before your game each Sunday, so everyone is able to make it, and instruction is fresh in the kids' mind. If your team chooses to have an OPTIONAL practice on another day of the week (MUST be OPTIONAL), we are limiting each team to one additional practice per week, at the coach's discretion. We want families to feel that this league is a manageable commitment, and we want the playing field to be as level as possible for all teams.
Jerseys are made-to-order, so they will likely be distributed at the first game. Please don't ask your coach about this issue. Please make sure the jersey size you put at registration is accurate. Your child will need black shorts with no pockets, molded cleats, and a mouthpiece.

Once you register your child online you'll need to download & complete the 7 forms accessible online under the registration tab of our website dixonyfc.com.
Incomplete files will not be accepted. Please have packet with all of the first 9 items complete before turning in.

9. Volunteer Check/Money Order in the Amount of $300 per family
A. Payments made to: DIXON DYFC
B. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR VOLUNTEER ITEM
C. MEMO: must include printed full name of each child participating within the same family.
D. Once a total of 6 hrs of volunteer duties per family is completed. Volunteer items will not be cash & returned at end of season/gear turn in. Volunteer Hours will be available on dibs.
